Noctua`s cooler are great:

... but "expensive" ... however ... you`ll probably buy a cooler once ... so it`s better to buy a great one and use it for you i5-2500K, for next cpu ... and next ... and next ... Noctua sends new mounting kits for free ... if there`s a new socket on the market (and if you make a screenshot of your Noctua product and new motherboard receipt).

Antec P182 + NF-S12B FLX @ 400rpm, E6850 @ 3.6GHz + NH-D14, 4GB DDR2 800MHz CL4, HD 5870 Vapor-X, Corsair AX850

1156 cooler works with 1155, the same mounting kit.
Try to find a cooler with 1 speed of cooling ... PWM fans can rotate up to 2500rpm ... then they are loud as hell.
My fan spins @ 400rpm = silence :)

Jeg havde egentlig budt på den, men så faldt jeg over en Noctua.

By the way can the MOBO bear that kind of weight?

Noctua fans works @ 1300rpm, but you can run them - with special adaptor - @ 1100rpm or with other adaptor @ 900rpm.
For me 900rpm was too loud - but there`s something with my ears - i think ;) - because for most people the 900rpm is very silent.
I`ve made a trick and connected 2 adaptors to one fan ... so the fan spins @ +-400rpm ... but i`ve made the trick with Noctua NF-S12B FLX fans - which i have bought separately (they operate @ 1200 / 900 / 600 rpm).
With Noctua cpu cooler you`ll receive a NF-P12 fans (1300/1100/900 rpm) ... but i think the 900 rpm will be enough for you. You can always try to connect 2 adaptors with NF-P12 fan - then the speed should go to +- 600-700 rpm.

Yes ... it`s ok for mobo - i use NH-D14 - 1,2kg.

G9, G15, G25, G35, Bose Companion 5 Hmm I think I'll wait and see, and if the stock cooler is to noisy i'll buy a U12. Thank you for the help!
