Konklusion/Conclusion
Konklusion
English Conclusion
This test has been a quite ambivalent experience. On one hand, the A8R32-MVP Deluxe is a good motherboard that satisfies most people's needs for a socket 939 motherboard. With a retail price of roughly 850,- DKK you get a good price/performance ratio. It is almost as fast as the nForce4 rival, which costs 20% more. On the other hand, the overclocking part has given much grievance, with the motherboard behaving rather oddly. The Sandra Memory test also shows that something is wrong – but after having tweaked just about every setting in the BIOS, we haven’t been able to improve the score. With this in mind it is difficult to recommend this motherboard to the enthusiast market, whereas it may be an acceptable upgrade for the average user with lower requirements. It is however difficult to recommend a socket 939 motherboard these days, now that AM2 has arrived.
In summary there are better alternatives out there, supplied both by Asus as well as by their competitors.
