Konklusion

Abit har med Fatal1ty AN9 32X bundkortet for alvor lavet en AM2 platform, der kan konkurrere om pladsen som den bedste AM2 platform på markedet. Det er spækket med features, har et godt layout, overclocker godt, og giver generelt en god performance. Til gengæld trækker vores RAM-problemer ned i den samlede vurdering. Det samme gør placeringen af PCI porten, samt brugen af termisk gummi frem for kølepasta, men derudover er det svært at forholde sig negativ overfor dette kort – med undtagelse af prisskiltet! Med en udsalgspris på over 1175,- bør man som minimum overveje, hvor mange af boardets lækre features man virkelig har brug for - og om man evt. kan nøjes med et 570 SLI eller 570 Ultra chipset, da prisen for disse er en del lavere. Hvis man til gengæld vil have det ypperste i form af 590 SLI, så bør Abits Fatal1ty AN9 32X indgå i overvejelserne.

With the Fatal1ty AN9 32X motherboard, Abit has made a platform that is able to compete with the best of the best AM2 solutions on the marked. It is feature packed, has a nice layout, overclocks well, and generally has excellent performance. On the other hand, we had some RAM problems with the board, and we aren’t too happy with the location of the PCI slot. Also, the use of thermal pads instead of thermal paste is a bad decision by Abit. With this being said, we are very happy with the board, except for the price! With a current price tag of roughly 1175 DKK, you should at least decide with yourself if you really need all the nifty features that this board offers, or if you can settle for the cheaper 570 SLI or even 570 Ultra. However, if you want the best of the best, and money is not an issue for you, you really should consider the Fatal1ty AN9 32X as your next AM2 motherboard.
